Copper Post Caps

Post Cap Source offers elegant copper post caps that are in stock and ready to ship. Copper post caps offer a different and bright look for your residential or commercial post cap application.

Our most popular Copper Post Cap is our 4.5” x 4.5” Cambridge Copper Top Post Cap that will fit over any 4.5” x 4.5” post.

We offer sizes from 3.5” x 3.5” to 5” x 5” square. If this is not what you are looking for, give us a call and we will either custom make it or locate the size that fits your application.

Construction and Materials: All our copper post caps are constructed using stainless steel fasteners and made from the best grade of clear, all heart, vertical-grain redwood or Spanish red cedar. This post top is made of 100% copper and will last a lifetime. It will eventually turn to an "aged" patina color. Some other manufacturers state you can spray the copper post cap with a clear lacquer if you want the polished look to remain. We suggest that you do not do this since some of the clear lacquer will chip or rub off in time causing some of the copper post cap to turn the classic patina color and the remaining part shiny copper.
